This day we were sick for the second consecutive day. I suffered from diarrhea and altitude sickness. Ane throwed-up twice yesterday and once this morning. We felt heavy in our heads and dizzy when walking around.
Later that day my altitude sickness disappeared, but my stomach was still causing me trouble. Fortunately we had medication against that and also some against altitude sickness.
By curiosity I searched this phenomenon on the Internet to learn more about it. On a Danish health site it said, that altitude sickness typically arises above 3,300 meters where the air only contains some 50% of the oxygen level we are used to. No wonder why our bodies reacted so strong.
We read our books, we slept and we managed to study the four walls very intensively and also got some rest. Just a pity when you are on holiday in a place, you probably won't have the opportunity to visit again.
