My grandparents on mothers side, Kjestine and Anders Brink, Skibelund - Ålkjær, Nustrup parish. They had ten children, five boys and five girls. Anders worked on Gram tileworks, he walked forth and back some 6 miles everyday. One of the daugthers is Kjerstine Margrethe Brink (my grandmother).
My grandparents on fathers side, Else Kathrine and Hans Adamsen, Gabøl moor, Nustrup parish, had a boy (I don't know if they had other children) he was named Hans Iversen Adamsen (my grandfather).
Kjerstine Margrethe Brink and Hans Iversen Adamsen got married and took over the smallholding on Gabøl moor. They had seven children, five boys and two girls.

The oldest son, Niels, dies in world war one. The youngest of the girls, my mother Else Kathrine Adamsen was born September 8, 1908. Her father died of tuberculosis when she ways 15 years old.
